Police say people should take extra care driving past horses if their cars are flying the flag for England.
If the wind catches the flags, they can make a noise which spooks horses.
Superintendent Gary Roberts says drivers should slow down, or tie the flags back.
He says there have been cases in the Island where horses have been frightened by the patriotic displays.
