Double success for Lougher

Ian Lougher was the star of the Steam Packet races as he took his total victories on the Billown Circuit to six.

The Welshman won the 600cc and the 1000cc races.

In the 600, Lougher finished ahead of Mark Parrett and Tim Poole, while there was local success in the 1000 with Paul Hunt and Connor Cummins claiming second and third respectively.

There were also good results for Castletown rider Chris Palmer who won both the 250 and 125.

The podium in the 250 was made up by Mark Parrett and Tim Poole.

Ian Lougher was second in the 125 and William Dunlop was third.

In the 400cc race, Paul Dobbs came first with a lap record in the process, Darren Sleus was second and Dave Madsen Mygdal third.
