Some 45 weapons have been handed in to police so far during the current knife amnesty.
The exercise is a repeat of a similar initiative run at this time last year and aims to reduce the number of knives and bladed weapons which could be used in a crime.
It is being run in conjunction with a UK knife amnesty.
The public are being reminded they can hand in any knife or bladed weapon - without fear of prosecution - at police headquarters in Douglas, and police stations in Peel, Port Erin and Ramsey until midnight on July 2nd.
