Turn ineffective sun care into charity cash

A pharmacy is calling on the Isle of Man to turn ineffective sun care into cash for charity.

Lloyds Pharmacy is running an amnesty for any old bottles of sun cream with an SPF of less than 15.

For every one handed in, ?1 will be donated to the Teenage Cancer Trust.

The amnesty is running for the next four weeks, and the aim is to raise ?100,000.

Head of Medicine at Lloyds, Chris Frost, says it is crucial young people realise sun protection equals cancer-prevention:
