A flu pandemic is sweeping the Isle of Man, and the authorities have just four hours to tackle it.

But don't worry, this is just an imaginary scenario dreamt up by the Director of Public Health Dr Parameswaran Kishore (pictured) which will be played out by key figures.

They will test the Island’s plans for dealing with an outbreak by imagining what would happen and how it could be contained and dealt with.

Dr Kishore says the wargame involves top staff who’ll have to make the necessary decisions if the disease really arrives here.
