Manxman devises internet book swap

A web-based book sharing scheme has been launched by London-based Manxman.

'Read it-Swap it' was devised by Andrew Scarffe who originally hails from Cronk y Voddy, to allow people to swap books via the internet free of charge.

He says he came up with the idea after looking at the large numbers of books he had on his shelves, but he is not worried that it will cause a downturn in the use of local libraries:
