by isleofman.com 16th June 2006
Sentence on a woman who made false statements to obtain social security benefits worth more than ?13,500 has been adjourned for reports.

Thirty-three year old Jacqueline Anne Radcliffe of Heather Crescent, Pulrose admitted seven offences, all committed between August 2004 and November 2005.

Radcliffe was paid benefits in the form of family income support and income support, on the basis she was a single parent and not working.

However, it was discovered she was back with her husband and had a part time job.

Radcliffe's advocate said the amount was being disputed, but it would be sorted out by her next appearance on July 11.
