The president of the Manx National Farmers Union has returned from a meeting with European officials in Strasbourg.
Howard Quayle was part of a delegation which included representatives from Wales, Ireland and Northern Ireland.
The discussions focused on EU rulings which affect those countries and the Isle of Man.
It is believed to be the first time a Manx representative has met the Agriculture Commissioner, Mariann Fischer-Boel.
