The Royal British Legion conference for 2010 will be staged here after AGM conference delegates voted 347 to 141 in favour of the Isle of Man over Birmingham.
A delegation of 11 Royal British Legion members, headed by Chairman of the Isle of Man county Ellis Killey, were successful in persuading delegates in Blackpool over the bank holiday weekend, to vote for the a return to the Isle of Man after an absence of 22 years.
