Island's EU future questioned

Could the Island end up as part of Northern Ireland?

Rushen MHK Quintin Gill says he’s worried European regionalisation plans could lump us in with an area of the UK as the EU develops.

In Tynwald on Tuesday, he’ll ask Chief Minister Donald Gelling whether he is aware of any plans to incorporate the Island into a region.

He says he hasn’t heard of definite proposals, but eurosceptics are predicting such a move.
