World Cup winner Martin Peters was the guest at a sportsmen's dinner hosted by Vagabonds Rugby Club, Douglas Royal Football Club and Corinthians Football Club.
The evening at the Hilton Hotel was held to raise funds for the trio's proposed sports development at Ballafletcher.
Peters scored the second goal in England's 1966 World Cup final win over Germany as well as winning the European Cup Winners Cup, League Cup and Uefa Cup during a successful club career with West Ham, Spurs and Norwich.
