Human Rights concerns to be raised in Tynwald

Worries about the potential impact of the new Human Rights Act has prompted a question from Rushen MHK Quintin Gill in Tynwald on Tuesday.

Mr Gill will ask Chief Minister Donald Gelling (pictured) whether he’ll give a categorical assurance that the legislation won’t lead to complications.

He says the UK has been forced to review its human rights laws after a number of high-profile cases.
