Temporary speed limit signs to be removed

Speed limit signs left over from this year’s TT will be removed shortly, says Director of Highways Bruce Hannay.

He says signs were put up to point out temporary restrictions in place during the festival. But now the TT’s over, some are still in place.

Mr Hannay says this is a simple oversight, and the Department of Transport will take down the signs near Creg ny Baa as soon as possible.

Advisory signs at Windy Corner advising a safe speed to drive at will remain in place, although these aren’t in a speed limited area:
