The Manx Electricity Authority is to offer up to 100 of its staff the possibility of early retirement.
That is the number out of the workforce of 286 who are fifty years or older. They are to be asked whether they want to take a voluntary early retirement package.
Amongst them are those who are too valuable to the running of the business who the firm will be keen to hang on to.
