Aram Jumps to Northern Title

Manx record holder Martin Aram has won the North of England Athletics Championship High Jump title.

The multiple Island Games Champion took victory with a clearance of 2m 10cm.

Other Isle of Man competitors won medals at the Sports City arena in Manchester.

John Halligan took silver in the 3000m Steeplechase Final clocking 9 minutes, 47.32 seconds.

And Thomas Riley claimed bronze in the 100m Final in a time of 10.90 seconds.
