Safer Island Driving welcomes no speed limit news

The Chairman of the group 'Safer Island Driving' or SID says he's delighted that plans to introduce a national speed limit on the Island have apparently been dropped.

The news is expected to be confirmed in Tynwald today (Tues).

Frank Scheungel (pictured) says the group is already involved in discussions with the Department of Transport about improving road safety, and they now hope to be able to move forward:
