Lottery warning

by isleofman.com 20th June 2006
Police are warning the public to look out for mail, suggesting large winnings on the Spanish Lottery.

People in Onchan have been sent claim forms asking for banking and personal details.

It is suspected those behind the scam, the “Euromillions Loteria International”, are using the information to commit identity fraud.

Police are repeating the advice that, "if it sounds too good to be true, then it probably is".
