War of words in Tynwald

There's been a war of words between the Education Minister and Michael MHK David Cannan.

It's over the closure of the Jurby School Special Needs Unit.

Mr Cannan has accused Minister David Anderson of using 'spin' and 'disinformation' and in response, Mr Anderson says he has incited 'ill-informed discontent'.

Mr Anderson was presented with a 2,000 name petition against the closure this morning.

Concerned parent Fred Stokes, says this is about more than just Jurby:
