Kevin Moore from Douglas finished equal 77th at the British Amateur Golf Championship, just one shot away from qualifying for the final matchplay stages.
An entry of 284 from around the world was split into two groups. On Monday, Kevin played the harder course, namely Royal St. George's which has hosted the British Open and Walker Cup.
Kevin's round of 76 was one of the better rounds at the venue.
A 77 on the easier Princes' Course on Tuesday could have been better, as the Island player dropped shots on the closing three holes.
