Transport Minister defends consultation

The Transport Minister has denied that the recent campaign to introduce an all island speed limit was flawed.

Phil Braidwood (pictured) says he was continuing the work of his predecessor John Shimmin who had stated that another consultation would take place if speed wasn't being reduced on Island roads.

He says the publicity campaign and the consultation stated the undeniable fact that speed is the major contributor to accidents on the Island:
