Disc parking on Douglas Head

by isleofman.com 22nd June 2006
New parking restrictions often take drivers by surprise.

One day you park without any restrictions - the next you find time limits have been imposed - and you've got a fixed penalty ticket.

Douglas Head Road has been a popular and free all-day parking place for office workers for years - but now there's a two hour limit.

Last week the road was chokka - now the spaces apparently needed for tourist and sightseers are all empty.

So what's going on?
