by isleofman.com 22nd June 2006
Transport Minister Phil Braidwood (pictured) says ten new speed limits have been introduced since 2005, requiring almost 150 signs.

In Tynwald this week, he gave a written response to a question from Rushen MHK Quintin Gill about how many new restrictions had been set up in the past two years.

Seven were placed in 2005, requiring 81 new signs costing ?60 each while just three have been set up to date this year.

Mr Braidwood added if signs need new poles to be placed, these cost an extra ?40 each.
