Members of Tynwald have paid tribute to President, Noel Cringle, as his term of office comes to an end.
He succeeded Charles Kerruish in July 2001.
Speaker of the House of Keys Tony Brown thanked Mr Cringle and his wife Mary.
He said Mr Cringle may be a candidate for a further five years in the role, when members vote on it next month.
