Cannan 'outraged' at sugggestion of electioneering.

The Michael member David Cannan says he would be happy with a "phasing out" of the special needs unit at Jurby.

That would, he says, enable the children to complete their schooling at Jurby and then move on to their secondary education.

Tynwald has told the Department of Education to have more discussions before making a final move on closure.

Mr Cannan says its outrageous to suggest the issue has become a 'cause celebre' and basis for electioneering:
