Organic farming advice

The head of an organic certifying body concludes his visit to the Isle of Man today (Fri).

Richard Jacobs is the Chief Executive of Organic Farmers and Growers.

He's been offering advice to any farmers considering going organic.

But Manx Radio's farming correspondent and local grower, John Kennaugh (pictured), says contrary to increasing public opinion, inorganic food is not substandard.

And he says ideally every farmer would work towards organic production, but it won't happen overnight:
