Cooperation between NFU and DAFF

The Manx National Farmers Union is working with the Department of Agriculture, not against it.

That from the General Secretary, Finlow Costain, who says reporting of the recent cuts to funding available through the Farm and Horticultural Improvement Scheme have been unduly negative.

Mr Costain says the NFU and DAFF made a presentation to members of Tynwald earlier this week, about how they move forward together.

He says Manx people shouldn't have a negative impression of the relationship:
