Music industry a possibilty

by isleofman.com 23rd June 2006
A groundbreaking musical project could kickstart an Isle of Man music industry, if Castletown businessman Roy Tilliard gets his way.

He and advocate Jerry Carter set up a unique music DVD which was filmed in the Island this week.

The Eighth Day stars jazz legends such as Martin Taylor, Guy Barker, Steve Brown and David Newtown, and will be released later this year.

If it’s a success, Mr Tilliard says he hopes he can produce more music DVDs and possibly build a professional recording studio.
