Honda Powerboat weekend

by isleofman.com 24th June 2006
The opening round of the Honda Formula 4-stroke Powerboat Series comes to Douglas
Bay today and tomorrow.

There are two classes – 150 and 225 horsepower.

Reigning 150 Champions Nick Clemson and Paul Trow-Smith are defending their title, although they failed to register a win in Manx waters last year.

Girl Power prevailed in the 225 class last season - Shelley Jory and Libby Keir are back hoping to improve on their two second places at the Isle of Man round.

In the 150’s, there’s a guest racer – Manx Radio’s very own Chris Kinley! (pictured) Hopefully he'll have more luck than when training at Southampton recently:-

Today's Racing starts at 12.30pm.
