BNP leader on the Island
The Chairman of the controversial "British National Party" who advocate severe curbs on immigration, is on the Island saying the Government should stop more foreign immigrants arriving. And he says he's looking for candidates to stand in November's General election.

Nick Griffin says he is looking to build up the BNP membership on the island.

Forty members of the BNP are distributing leaflets round the Island. The leaflets are arriving through letter boxes.

Mr Griffin says his members have met with a sympathetic response on the Island.
