War veterans honoured

Service people past and present, young and old will are being honoured in the Isle of Man and across the United Kingdom today (Tuesday).

Veterans Day is for anyone who's served their country - in any capacity - in the forces and includes those who did two years national service.

A special church service was held at St George's in Douglas at the weekend and other events are taking place in the UK today.

Manx-born Una Johnson served in the RAF for four years.

She says the support and sacrifice of veterans families should also be remembered:
