The Euroclub’s next meeting will hear a talk on the European Union’s environmental policy on Thursday.
Dr Caroline Jackson – the Conservative party’s European Environment Spokesman – will be at the Shearwater Suite of the Hilton Hotel in Douglas from 6pm.
Dr Jackson has been described as the most powerful woman in Tory politics today, and is working on the EU’s Waste Framework Directive which shapes how Europe deals with its waste.
She's been an MEP since 1984 and sits on the European Parliament's Environment committee.
