Job restrictions required for retired civil servants, claims MHK

Onchan MHK Peter Karran says civil servants need to be restricted in the jobs they can take after retirement.

He says he’s worried about staff taking consultancy work once they’ve left government employment.

In the House of Keys this week, he asked DLGE Minister John Rimington whether such restrictions would be considered.
