Hit and run damage

by isleofman.com 28th June 2006
Police say they’d like to speak to the driver of a large lorry or mechanical digger after a hit and run accident.

The incident happened between 10am and midday today when somebody damaged a stone pillar and section of hedge near Bridge Nurseries on the St Marks to Braaid Road.

Officers say this could have been a truck or industrial plant as substantial damage was caused.

The driver cleared debris from the road but didn’t report the accident to police.

If you have any information, please call Castletown police on 822222.
