by isleofman.com 29th June 2006
The police say Swedish coastguards, involved in the search for the missing Manx actuary Lee Tyrer, have found a body in waters around Vaxholm.

Mr Tyrer was on a yachting holiday with four friends near Stockholm when he went missing in the early hours of June 20.

An extensive search has been underway ever since.

According the Swedish police, they have not yet been able to identify the body.

Isle of Man Constabulary liaison officers are continuing to monitor the situation and say they will assist the Swedish Authorities to help an identification.
