A memorial to honour sixty-nine Manxmen who fought at the Battle of Trafalgar was unveiled on Douglas Head this morning (Thursday).
Wreaths were laid, and blessings read by the Lord Bishop Graeme Knowles and Father Gerry Hurst.
A statue in honour of Captain Quilliam was unveiled in Castletown last year, but the memorial is the first lasting tribute to every Manxman involved in the sea battle.
