The Soldiers, Sailors and Families Assocation is holding its annual band concert tonight at the Villa Marina (Sunday). It features the Band of Kings Division, led by Manxman Captain Richard Watterson, which is based in Preston. SSAFA is a national charity, which helps serving and ex-service men, women and their families, including widows and widowers. All proceeds from the collection will help people in the Isle of Man, as James Kewin explained (audio file attached):
