Viking Festival well underway

The Manx Viking Festival is well underway.

The traditional event in Peel was resurrected last year, and has been vastly enlarged for 2006.

A Viking Village has been constructed on Peel beach and dozens of modern day Vikings are living and working within the compound.

Sales and Marketing Manager for the festival, John Shakespeare, says it has been a major undertaking which has had major health and safety challenges to overcome: (first audio clip)
