Acts 'rushed through' says MLC

A number of new Acts were rushed through the legislative process, despite only seven having been promulgated at today's Tynwald ceremony.

That's according to Leonard Singer MLC, who says it is an unacceptable situation.

He believes it is necessary to give each piece of legislation enough time to be properly considered, and the matter needs urgent attention:
