Whooping cough reassurance

The Island's acting Director of Public Health says parents on the Island shouldn't get alarmed about Whooping Cough.

Researchers in the UK claim the disease is endemic among schoolchildren, even though most have been immunised.

More than 37% of youngsters seen by a doctor showed signs of
a recent infection.

However, Dr Parameshwaran Kishore (pictured) says the regime of vaccination has changed in recent years, and it's now more effective:
