Manxman Mark Higgins clinched victory in the second round of the British Rally Championship by the narrowest of margins.
He triumphed in the Jim Clark International Rally after a dramatic finish.
After over 140 stage miles, Higgins and Rory Galligan were actually tied!
However, on a countback, Higgins was deemed 2.5 seconds faster!
Rally correspondent, Chris Boyde, says for both competitors to initially tie, was an extraordinary feat (audio file attached).
There was disappointment for the other Manx competitors.
David Higgins, Andrew Bargery, sitting next to Justin Dale, and Rob Fagg - on the notes for James Wozencroft - were all forced to retire.
Paul Curphey was also a retirement – this in the Jim Clark National Rally.
The third round of the series is Rally Isle of Man between August 3 and 5.
