MEA statement due in Tynwald

The Manx Electricity Authority will come under the spotlight when Tynwald sits this month.

On Tuesday, the chairman of a Select Committee looking into the MEA – Speaker of the House of Keys Tony Brown (pictured) - will give a statement to the court.

Last month, the MEA announced it would offer up to a hundred of its staff the chance to take early retirement.
