Update on Jurby School

by isleofman.com 9th July 2006
Education Minister David Anderson (pictured) will address Tynwald this week about the special needs unit in Jurby School.

The issue – which has polarized opinion – was the subject of a motion in the House of Keys by Michael MHK David Cannan calling for the closure to be reversed.

Mr Anderson then announced discussions will be held with all parties – including teachers and parents.

At Tynwald’s sitting on Tuesday, he’ll deliver a statement to politicians on the subject.
