by isleofman.com 10th July 2006
Police are appealing for witnesses to an accident which happened over two weeks ago

The incident was on the 22nd of June but was only reported to police on Saturday (8th July).

It took place outside the entrance to a house 200 yards north of the Silverdale entrance heading towards the Ballamodha and involved a green Kawasaki motorbike ridden by a 30 year old man from Colby and a red Peugeot 106 car driven by a 52 year old Ballasalla woman.

The motorcyclist was not thought to have any injuries at the time but was later found to have a broken collar bone.

Police would particularly like to speak with a young man who was driving a white van and a woman who stopped at the scene to help.

Anyone who may have witnessed the accident is asked to ring police headquarters on 631 212.
