Jurby school announcement delayed

by isleofman.com 11th July 2006
A statement by the Minister for Education about the closure of Jurby School's Special Unit has been delayed until tomorrow.

David Anderson (pictured) was due to address members this afternoon about the issue.

It was the subject of a motion in the House of Keys by Michael MHK David Cannan calling for the closure to be reversed.

Mr Anderson then announced discussions will be held with all parties – including teachers and parents.
