Fuel price rises on the way

What could be a significant fuel cost adjustment is on the way in September in the face of substantial global fuel rises.

But the Chairman of the Manx Electricity Authority Eddie Teare has told Tynwald that every effort will be made to mitigate the rises, by bringing it in in stages through the year rather than all at once.

In respect of possible ongoing action against former executives, Mr Teare (pictured) has said that a file pased to the Attorney General's Offices is still there, waiting for any further action thought necesary.
