Discussions are continuing over the future use of the Jack Nivison Stadium in Onchan Park.
Members of the Cycling Association met stadium owners, Onchan Commissioners, earlier this month, over proposals to create a cycling velodrome.
The board has also held initial discussions with the current licence holders who operate stock cars and go-karting.
Commissioners’ chairman, Derek Crellin, says talks are ongoing.
