A progress report on how the findings of the ?2 million child care inquiry could be implemented has been received by Tynwald.
Members agreed to receive it by 24 votes to four.
The inquiry was set up following the murders of 16 year-olds Samantha Barton and George Green in 2002.
However, the matter’s not due to come back before the court until next May.
