Corkill trial day 2

by isleofman.com 14th July 2006
The Julie Corkill trial has been hearing from another witness this morning.

Paul Gavin, who has been a joiner for over twenty years, claims he was asked to do extra work on Ballacain holiday cottages (pictured).

The prosecution sent Mr Gavin home to pick up a diary of events that he kept at the time.

The wife of former Chief Minister Richard Corkill faces four charges of false accounting and two of obtaining money by deception.

She denies all the charges against her.

The trial continues.
