Archaeology for all at Peel Castle

There’ll be many hidden secrets to be explored at Peel Castle today (Sunday).

Manx National Heritage is marking National Archaeology Day by taking the public on a journey through time.

Visitors will be able to find out about the archaeological artefacts that have been discovered on St. Patrick’s Isle and meet the people who left them behind!

It’s the first time, National Archaeology Day will be celebrated at Peel Castle.

MNH assistant curator, Katie King, hopes families and people of all ages come along to visit the sites, learn about archaeology and take part in activities on site (audio file attached):
