by isleofman.com 15th July 2006
A delegation leaves the Island today (Sunday) bound for the United States.

The party of top officials is scheduled to meet counterparts in Washington DC to build on contacts made during a visit made in November of last year.

Chief Minister Donald Gelling (pictured) is leading the group which also contains Treasury Minister Allan Bell, the Attorney General, and Home Affairs Minister John Shimmin.

The team will also be hoping to build on the Island's reputation as a world class offshore finance centre.
